Virtual Brain EZ is a scaled down version of the full blown Virtual Brain application. Both are available for free download
from our website. EZ uses less of your CPU because it includes smaller sound samples and less effects and operates a maximum
of one Mandala Pad. EZ is a good starting point for those of you who may not be ready for a pro audio application having hundreds
of options. Once you feel comfortable with EZ as a stepping stone you simply install the larger version and all those options will
be waiting for you!
GETTING STARTED with your Mandala Drum takes just a few steps...
MAC USERS
- Download and unzip the 'Mandala_VB_EZ_1.0_Mac' folder. (6.76MB)
- Connect your Mandala Drum to your Mac with the included USB cable.
- Double click the 'Mandala VB EZ' application located in the downloaded Mandala folder, and...
- Turn up your speakers, choose from the list of presets and play away with your new drum sticks!
PC USERS
- Download and install the ASIO4ALL driver (developed by Michael Tippach). See below for detailed ASIO4ALL installation directions. (ASIO4ALL is not required but it is highly recommended to make the most of your computer's audio capabilities. Your Mandala can react faster than normal using the ASIO4ALL driver.)
- Download and unzip the 'Mandala_VB_EZ_1.0_PC' folder. (130MB)
- Connect your Mandala Drum to your PC with the included USB cable.
- Double click the 'Mandala VB EZ' application located in the downloaded Mandala folder, and...
- Turn up your speakers, choose from the list of presets and play away with your new drum sticks!
(Click the Audio Setup button to adjust settings if your computer doesn't immediately output sound when you play.)
The whole program will be before your eyes in a single window.

PC Users: To install ASIO4ALL please proceed as follows:
- Choose 'ASIO4ALL 2.8 - English' at the above linked website and a file called 'ASIO4ALL_2_8_English.exe' will instantly download to your computer.
- Double click that file once it is downloaded.
- Click 'Run' when asked 'Do you want to Run or Save this file?'
- Click 'Run' when asked 'The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?'
- Click 'Next'.
- Check 'Accept' and then click 'Next'.
- Click 'Next'.
- Click 'Install'.
- Click 'Finish' and that's it!
