Loops in VB...

Post by kiwidave »

Gidday, as you can guess, I am a noob to mandala, I recently acquired 2 v.2 drums and are loving them, infact they are already changing the game in my 3 piece band http://www.troikaband.com ..

My question is, I need to trigger 4 & 8 bar loops but the virtual brain cuts 'em short, tried them as wavs, aaifs, mp3s etc.

Is there a way I can trigger loops? Is there a program to use along side VB?

These things are freaking amazing!!! And I'm only just getting started with them!

Regards.

Dave.

There's an Attack, Hold, Decay setting for every zone of each of your pads in the VB. Your sample playback lengths are dictated by those parameters. Increase the Hold length under the Shape tab for any zone that is getting cut short. The setting is in ms, so for example 1000 = 1s.

You'll have to trigger the zones each time the loops comes around though because the VB doesn't loop samples.

Native Instruments Battery is recommended for Mandala players that want to take things to the next level.

Hi, I'm looking for control burst exp, supposedly in the mandala battery presets download.

Can anyone point me to this download? I'm going around in circles...

Cheers.
