I'm running windows7 Ultimate. Does anyone have any tips to make the pad through Virtual Brain more realtime? It has a slight delay, feels like it flams. I'd like to get it absolutely realtime so I could incorporate it into my drumset. I've tried increasing the processes priority in task manager to no avail.
specs: 3.2ghz dual core/4gig ram
Realtime
Re: Realtime
On my Mac with no external audio interface I can get the buffer size to 32 and my Brain program has no detectable latency. Set your buffer size as low as possible without your sound breaking up.

Re: Realtime
Just another Idea,
I've also found that disabling system sounds makes for even less delay!
I can't get any other audio to work when I have ASIO open so it doesn't matter that I disable them.
Also changing buffer offset from 4 (default?) to 0 takes 4ms off of delay.
cheers
