Just throughing this out into the void.

For those of you who use max for live and have a Synasthesia corp Mandala mk2.9 (or v3 possibly), here’s some devices I built 2025 and tidied up April 2026.

Basically has all the bells and whistles of the Virtual Brain, now nestled within instrument racks ...

I have new mac mini M3. Latest update with Sequoia. Most recent 2.9 virtual brain, i re downloaded.

Max4Live Max/msp conflict issue when loading

Not sure if anyone else experiences this. When i load any max patch the mandala v3 opens up and takes priority eg my patch opens but the the menu is for mandala v3 and no further interaction can happen with max patch. MK2.9 Zone1, Velocity and calibration issues

Wanting to see if anyone else is experiencing zone issues with their MK2.9 and if you have found a solution.
Issue1: Zone one value seams limited between 0-14, once 15-30 Zone 2 Triggers instead.
Issue2: When struck hard (Wrist stroke) other zones trigger rather than the one hit.

Dude ,

Your iMac is superpowered!!
I should have been more specific in referring to laptops.
You will benefit from getting some longer usb cables as you are using a desktop.
Measure what you need and ebay should provide with a a cheap solution.
