I've noticed the V3 isn't as sensitive as the MK2.9 - could there be a way to tune the sensitivity?
I remember a video of the MK2.9 where they dropped a guitar pick on the head and it sensed it. Perhaps the crosstalk was tuned out and that's the best sensitivity we can get?

Mute zone?
I remember having a mute zone on my MK2.9 that I don't think is available on V3. You could press on the head and hit the rim at the same time and that would send a new MIDI note that you could assign to a different sample, like a conga slap.

I would. it would be helpful to get more pads in a crowded kit.
