Thanks,
Yeah I posted this before the synapse came about. The Arduino looks really interesting though, I'm definitely going to check that out.

Re: Sensitivity on the MK2.9
Hey,
I found the same thing. . .
That the velocity levels 1-127 could be reached just fine but. . . 127 was reached to early and 1 was reached just a bit too late. . .
I think rather than dulling or sharpening sensitivity, maybe we should be able to have the option to increase or even decrease ...

Re: Battery 3 Volume Curves
For me. . . if they are just straight samples. Aka. one sound sample.
I leave the velocity curve as linear. . . so dead straight from 0 to 1
but in modulations i plug velocity into volume, and drag the line till its at about 60 - 70 %
that usually works perfectly for me
Good luck

Re: playing along to music
Hey,
yeah did my head in too. . .
It's to do with the asio driver rather than the software
I found my only solution was to plug my mp3 player into my pc sound system, through the second input connection.
One day hopefully asio will find a way of enabling playing from various applications. . . but ...

Re: Black Beauty not working properly...
Hey guys,
I also had this problem. . . and I have a very fast machine (can get latency to 1.8ms in battery)
What I ended up doing. . . was recreating the setup from the black beauty application. . . in battery.
Took a long time. . . but when I was finished it was worth it, played really nicely.

Re: Mandala Black Beauty snare application
Hi there, I had the exact same problem for a while. However i don't any more (don't ask me how, as i have no idea). But a fix that worked for me. . . disable all other sounds, disable your speakers via the control panel and it should work. Well it did for me!

USB/MIDI drum kick pads and hihat pedals/electronic hats
Hi there guys,
Absolutely love Mandala 2.9!! YAY!!
I'm looking at getting some USB/MIDI pedals and pads. ATM I can't seem to find any anywhere, and local shops say I need a module/interface. I don't want or need anything fancy. Just some pads and pedals to connect to my PC like my Mandala pad. Any ...

Re: Realtime
Just another Idea,
I've also found that disabling system sounds makes for even less delay!
I can't get any other audio to work when I have ASIO open so it doesn't matter that I disable them.
Also changing buffer offset from 4 (default?) to 0 takes 4ms off of delay.
cheers

Re: Mandala and Pedals?
Hi all, I'm just starting out drumming and I've been hunting around for a starter kit that fits into the limited space of our house. I've been looking at the Yamaha DD-65, but then I came across the Mandala on Youtube yesterday and was blown away. I love the idea of being able to use the BB snare ...
