Multiple Mandalas would do it! Each one can be set to a different channel.
But why can't it be done with a single Mandala? You can set key ranges manually or use the learn function in the Layer Editor, right?

The Manual is a standard PDF.
It shows up within your browser if you click on the link from the Support page.
You can also right-click the link and 'Save Linked File As..." to download it and view it with Preview or whatever.

Yes it can be plugged into an iPad and used to control any synth or sampler apps that accept MIDI. If there are limitations they would be related to how fast the iPad can output sound once it is hit with MIDI data!

Yes class-compliant USB MIDI means the Mandala is a standard USB MIDI controller that needs no special drivers and can control any MIDI software. Thanks for posting about the iconnect MIDI interface. I didn't know that existed! The Mandala would most definitely be compatible with that device. You ...

I asked the company the same questions you had. Check out the Support page of their site. Now there is a v2 converter utility for download to configure your old pad to work best with the new software.
There's also a bug fix for ReWire up there. It worked for me.

On my Mac with no external audio interface I can get the buffer size to 32 and my Brain program has no detectable latency. Set your buffer size as low as possible without your sound breaking up.
