I have NI battery 3 and if I could find a hardware equivalent that would allow me to use my Mandala set up I'd dance...

I've just started using B3 with my Mandalas and drumkat. The question is, does anyone know how long of a sample I can drop into each cell? I'd like to use B3 as a phrase sampler play back program. I know with something that new you should not have to worry about corrosion, but could you just swap them out for stainless? It should not cost too much.
