Re: mandala vb and v-drums
To use a Mandala v2 with the VB3 software you need to run the v2 converter one time on the pad. The converter is downloadable at http://synesthesiacorp.com/downloads To control the VB3 with a V-Drum kit you should learn about the MIDI output from your V-Drum kit and then read Appendix B of the Manda...

Re: Preset
Yes Battery 3 creates .kt3 files as presets and those can be shared between Battery 3 users. If you are only using sounds from the Battery 3 library then all you need to share is the .kt3 file and the other people will already have the sounds, It's the same with sharing for the VB. If your VB preset...

Re: Preset
The VB3 presets are individual text files in the Mandala mk2.9 Presets folder that can be shared any way you'd like. After you save a preset it will be in that folder and if you share that file with someone else they can drop it into their Mandala mk2.9 Presets folder and it will be available to loa...

I also asked tech support about the future of the BB and they said there is a new version in the works but in the meantime it is available as a download. They never had direct download links posted on their site because the software was on the included install DVD. I haven't had any latency or misse...

Re: Mandala doesnt work with Virtual Brain BUT with Reason,
It's not a driver issue because the Mandala uses standard drivers that are built in to your OS whether it's Windows or OSX. Do you have a v2.0 (purple) or mk2.9 (grey) Mandala? Sounds like you have v2.0 and it's not configured correctly. If you want to use your v2.0 with the newest Virtual Brain you...

Re: mandala pad not sending data
Make sure you didn't move the Virtual Brain application out of its home folder. It needs to be where it was when you installed it from the DVD because inside that folder it relies on all that other stuff like curves/scales/sound library/support etc. If you want to put the program on your desktop or ...

Re: Battery 3 configuration for multiple Mandala pads
Your Pad #4 is triggering F3 no matter where you hit it because you need to loosen the 9 lugs a little bit and raise the rim (by like 1mm). Every hit on that pad is registering as a Xstick (F3). Also, because the lugs need to be loosened your Preferences settings aren't saving in the pad because it ...
