Midi Note length

Postby sartrig » Tue Oct 09, 2012 11:32 am

There is probably a simple solution to this question, but I guess I'll ask anyway. When using the Mandala as a midi controller with another software program (MainStage in this case), sometimes the midi note length is very short on certain plugins and then the notes play fine on others. Is there a way to control midi note length from the VB settings or would it have to be done in MS?

Which plugins are you referring to?

I hit this problem in Ableton as well. I found that a MIDI Note Length plug in did the trick to lengthen it enough to trigger. It's basically just a hold on the incoming MIDI notes. Not sure if there is something similar in Main Stage. I talk about it a little in this video:
