Traveling Cases

Post by TJungus »

Hey all, I was wondering if Mandala has an officially supported traveling case or what everybody here uses? I'm going to be traveling across the country and would like a very strong and reliable case for these to fit in. Needs to fit at least 2.

I've used a Pelican case that allows you to pop out foam squares inside of it to create rectangles that my pads slip right into. It's about as protected as you can get.

Mandrake, any specific models that I should be on the lookout for?

Late to the party ,but did you ever find a solution?
I just ordered two pads and they have not arrived yet so I can't say for sure but could you not wrap them in a towel and place them in a 14 x 6.5 hard shell snare drum case? I've been doing that with a couple of wave drums works perfectly. I've recently picked up two wave drum bags and I toss the two drums into the bags then into the snare case it's perfect.

Looks very good, I like the road case. The pads are well incorporated too IMO.
