Looking to buy

So, for years I've wanted a Mandala pad. I have a Korg Wavedrum, Roland HPD15 and feel the need to expand. The whole computer thing makes me a little worried as I have no faith in them during a live performance. A while back there was a version that did not require the need for a computer. Are any of those still available? If so where? What are people's thoughts about the 2.9? Any input would be great! Thanks!
