I've been trying to carve out some time to try this for a few weeks now.

Just a quick demo - nothing too fancy. Again, there's a ton of power here that I've only scratched the surface of...

I put the patch used in this example up on my blog:

Has anyone else hooked their Mandala to their modular?

***Just realized i posted this in response to the other thread of Morgan Hendry****

I imagine you would have to use max4live.
I built a reassign patch last year which allowed me to do just that with a roland td9.

I have a separate question to add as i have yet to receive my Mandala's.

Within ableton live are you able to restrict the Midi Control number value.
e.g. Zone 1-2 would be 0-63 Zone 3-4 would be 64-127. When midi assign is being chosen could this value of 64 intervals control 0 -100% of the fader/control knobs value. This in theory would give you 2 sounds with assigned control rather than the one( e.g. your video example which is great - thank you)

Most likely it is plausible in Pure data or MAX/msp - though like yourselves i want to cut out as many middle men as possible.

Regards.
